“ Amazing Filipino food that I highly recommend. Growing up on good Filipino food, I tend to be critical especially if I have to pay for Filipino food. Food was authentic and delicious. Prices are comparable to other cuisines and portions are generous - especially the bbq pork or chicken. The salmon sinigang is a must try. Wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place isn't very big as it shares space with a small Filipino grocery so prepare to wait if you arrive during peak times. They also offer sago at gulaman as well as halo-halo for dessert. Looking forward to coming back. ”
“ Absolutely amazing Filipino food. Great food with fast service. Staff are very friendly and take the time to explain things to you. This was our first time here and will definitely be going back. The menu is broken down into favorites, breakfast, and seafood. We ordered from their favorites menu and there were still lots we wanted to try. We ordered the pork sisig, lachon, garlic rice, egg rolls, and breakfast meal with sausage and runny egg. Everything was so filled with flavor. The lachon was crispy and not too salty. The pork sisig was so packed with juicy flavor and paired so well with the rice. You must have rice with this as it is quite greasy. It is also quite heavy due to the glutinous cartilage but so worth it. The eggrolls came with this sweet dipping sauce and also quite tasty. Conveniently located off route 1 north in the same complex as Favorites. Plenty of parking but do go early or during an off hour as seating is quite limited. We arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday and around 12, it started to get very busy. There is also a small Filipino supermarket attached. ”
“ The twins wanted ice cream so we asked if we could buy the ice cream from their grocery store and scoop it in a bowl for them! The staff are so nice and friendly, the shop is clean and well furnished! We only had halo halo but will be back to try food. ”
“ Best crispy pata I've had in my life, which is as bold a statement as it seems. My problem with crispy pata is that after all the skin is gone, the meat is usually dry and flavorless. And this is why Luzviminda is doing something special - the meat is tender and flavorful to the bone. This alone is reason to come here. We also ordered lumpiang gulay, sinigang na baboy, chicken bbq, inihaw na pusit (from their seafood "dampa" section) and pork binagoongan. The pork in the sinigang could have been more tender but the soup was still sour and comforting. The pork binagoongan is a different take, very salty so eat with tons of rice, not as greasy or as sweet as what I'm used to. Everything else was perfectly fine but not as notable as the crispy pata. There is a big dining area with plenty of comfortable seating. The pricing is fair and portions were generous. We came on Christmas weekend so maybe they were understaffed but the tables took a while to get bussed. Everyone working there was very kind and helpful. ”
“ It is not easy to find a spacious, clean, fresh and delicious Filipino restaurant. Most of the time the establishment is cramped, messy, tables are oily and the food greasy and low quality. Luzviminda however is none of these things. What I love the most about this place is the fresh seafood case where you can select any fish, squid or shrimp to have cooked in whatever dish you'd like. The food is delicious and the portions and prices very reasonable. And they have a convenient mini grocery! Unfortunately they don't carry everything, but you know that their items haven't been on the shelves for over a year! The service is prompt friendly, patient and helpful. My only critique is that the tables were not cleared right away. It took about 30 minutes before someone finally started clearing up. Other than that, this is my new Filipino restaurant go-to! Try it, you won't regret it! ”
“ IYKYK-- it is very hard to find good Filipino food. Lots of places are either baduy (tacky) or trying too hard (fusion that makes the Filipino food unrecognizable). And almost always they are skimpy on their servings (and sahog) and still have the nerve to be overpriced. Well, Luzviminda finally gives me hope. I now have somewhere to get comfort food that is comforting. The seating area is bright and tidy. Highly appreciate the soy sauce/vinegar combo on the table! I can also buy stuff from the grocery without feeling like they are guilty pleasures... the prices are right and you can just get what you crave. All served with a smile and respect (I appreciate being called "Ate"). It's a casual restaurant, so you order at the counter and all drinks are a la carte (no tap water). The food is brought to your table and is served on real plates with silverware. See my photos... all the food was as good as it looked! Pro tip: instead of paying $20 for Jollibee palabok, go to Luzviminda and pay $14 for pancit malabon! It's got real toppings of pork belly, shrimp and ground beef. And the wait time (around 15 minutes) will be the same LOL ”
“ We came here for brunch! Ordered everything at the counter and then sat at the tables. While waiting for our food we were able to check out what items they had in their grocery section. We got some pandesal and sky flakes. The food finally came out and it was so yummy! Garlic rice went perfectly with the eggs and pork. Everything was great but it was a little pricey though! Thanks! ”
